Össur Global | Corporate Identity
Het IJslandse bedrijf Össur, onderdeel van Embla Medical, ontwerpt en produceert high tech protheses, bionische handen, braces en andere hulpmiddelen voor het menselijk lichaam.
In 2014 - 2016 ontwierp Dreessen Willemse Architecten de nieuwbouw voor Headquarters Össur Europe in Eindhoven. Naast het hoofdkantoor met warehouse, ontwierp ons bureau in samenwerking met Aarts & Co Interieur & Advies ook het interieur van het gebouw, bestaande uit maatwerk meubilair, losse inrichtingen, vloerafwerkingen, stoffering, signing etc. Hiervoor werd nauw samengewerkt met Global Marketing en de Brand designers van Össur. Zo ontstond de nieuwe corporate identity van de werkomgeving van Össur. Sindsdien werkt Dreessen Willemse Architecten wereldwijd als Global Brand Architect aan ontwerp en realisatie van locaties voor Össur. Soms als supervisor, maar meestal als ontwerpend architect.
In de corporate identity staan activity based working, hospitality, duurzaamheid, comfort en gelijkwaardigheid centraal. In samenwerking met een vast team van specialisten is palet van materialen, kleuren, en meubilair geselecteerd, dat steeds weer verder kan worden ontwikkeld en toegepast op specifieke locaties. Hergebruik van meubilair vormt hierbij een belangrijk uitgangspunt: Binnen het dynamische bedrijf kan het bestaande meubilair tussen verschillende vestigingen worden uitgewisseld of samengevoegd, wanneer dat nodig is.

The Icelandic company Össur, part of Embla Medical, designs and produces high-tech prosthetics, bionic hands, braces and other aids for the human body.
In 2014 - 2016 Dreessen Willemse Architecten designed the new building for Headquarters Össur Europe in Eindhoven. In addition to the head office with warehouse, our agency, in collaboration with Aarts & Co Interieur & Advies, also designed the interior of the building, consisting of custom furniture, separate furnishings, floor finishes, upholstery, signing, etc. This involved close collaboration with Global Marketing and de Brand. designers from Össur. This is how the new corporate identity of Össur's working environment was created.
Since then, Dreessen Willemse Architecten has been working worldwide as a Global Brand Architect on the design and realisation of locations for Össur. Sometimes as a supervisor, but usually as a designing architect.
Activity-based working, hospitality, sustainability, comfort and equality are central to the corporate identity. In collaboration with a permanent team of specialists, a palette of materials, colours and furniture has been selected, which can be further developed and applied to specific locations. Reuse of furniture is an important starting point: Within the dynamic company, existing furniture can be exchanged or combined between different locations when necessary.
